Physical Therapy Assistant

Position Summary

The PhysicalTherapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for performing physical therapyprocedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by thesupervising Physical Therapist. As a representative of the Rehabilitationdepartment, and of the organization, it is required that the PTA perform theessential functions of the job in a professional manner, with a positiveattitude and is aware and supportive of the mission, vision, resident Bill ofRights, policies and procedures of the organization.

Responsibilities include performing PT procedures, routine operational functions, maintaining communication with physicians or others on care team, transport of residents as needed, completing billing and documentation in a timely. manner.

Knowledge and Skills

Must be a graduate of a PT Assistant Associate Degree program

Must be licensed as PTA in NYS

Must have computer literacy

Team player

Per Diem 

$40.20 per hour
