Job DetailsJob Location: Sacramento, CA 95823Salary Range: $31.00 - $77.77 HourlySUMMARY OF POSITION: The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients in both outpatient and residential treatment programs. This role involves conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. The Clinical Therapist will also provide crisis intervention, conduct assessments, and participate in case management activities. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and substance use issues. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ needs, goals, and preferences. Facilitate individual counseling sessions to support clients’ recovery. Facilitate family therapy sessions as needed. Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities and client interactions. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of care. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.  LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of California.  Current CPR/First Aid Certification.  Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use treatment or mental health counseling. Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to providing culturally competent care and promoting diversity and inclusion. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality guidelines. Successful completion of background check, drug test, physical, and TB screening. Valid driver's license and proof of active personal vehicle insurance.
