About the Role
Ensisinfo Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in enterprise network infrastructure, security, operations, and automation to support a California State Government project. The ideal candidate must demonstrate hands-on technical leadership and proven government project experience.
Mandatory Qualifications – ALL REQUIRED
- Government Experience: Prior professional experience supporting U.S. State or Federal Government IT projects is mandatory.
- Technical Leadership: Minimum 5 years of experience aligning IT systems with business processes, including 3 years in a lead capacity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Network Infrastructure: Minimum 5 years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience configuring and supporting enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, network interfaces, and high-availability environments.
- Network Security: Minimum 5 years FTE experience managing firewall rules, ACLs, VPNs, network segmentation, traffic filtering, and vulnerability remediation.
- Network Operations: Minimum 5 years FTE experience monitoring enterprise networks, troubleshooting outages, performing root-cause analysis, resolving incidents, and maintaining ITSM records (ServiceNow or equivalent).
- Network Automation: Minimum 5 years FTE experience automating network administration using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, vendor APIs, or comparable tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with LAN/WAN, VLANs, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and performance troubleshooting.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4+, or CompTIA Network+.
- Experience with network modernization, cloud migration, and legacy infrastructure transformation.
- Familiarity with government security standards, GenAI infrastructure safeguards, and DHCS SIMM 5305-F requirements.
Important: Candidates must clearly demonstrate the required years of experience for each mandatory qualification. Government project experience is non-negotiable.
