Sacramento Montessori School is looking for a warm, nurturing, and dependable Infant Teacher who loves working with babies and understands the importance of creating a safe, peaceful, and responsive environment.

 

 

You’ll support infants through daily routines, caregiving, movement, exploration, and age-appropriate Montessori experiences while building strong relationships with children and their families.

 

 

Requirements

 

•  12 ECE units required

•  Current CPR certification required

•  Background check required

•  Infant or early childhood experience preferred

•  Montessori experience is a plus, but not required

•  Must meet applicable California childcare licensing requirements

 

What You’ll Do

 

•  Provide loving, attentive care to infants

•  Support feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily routines

•  Engage children through talking, singing, reading, movement, and play

•  Create a clean, calm, and developmentally appropriate classroom

•  Follow health, safety, and safe-sleep practices

•  Communicate professionally with families and your teaching team

•  Follow California licensing requirements and school policies
