Security Officer Lvl 1

About the Role:

The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both personnel and property. This positions a temporary security position that involves conducting regular patrol foot patrol, to monitor and assess the security of designated areas, ensuring that any potential threats are identified and addressed promptly. The officer will also be responsible for responding to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, providing immediate assistance as needed. Effective communication and collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency services are essential to ensure a coordinated response to any security issues. Ultimately, the Security Officer contributes to the overall safety and peace of mind of the community they serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to be added to our insurance if hired role entails driving a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrol of assigned areas to deter and detect security breaches.
• Respond to alarms or incidents as they occur.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
