Job DetailsJob Location: Sacramento - SACRAMENTO, CA 95826Salary Range: $17.27 - $21.00 HourlyJob Category: TransportationThis position is a Seasonal/On Call Position under the supervision of the Emergency Services Manager. The Employee is responsible for the safe loading and delivery of fuel to CalFire or fire/weather related job sites. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. Completes procedures for the safe handling of bulk fuel products. Unloads tanker trucks in a safe manner. Fueling of emergency vehicles. Processes all paperwork for receiving and delivering orders for bulk products. Moves bulk product in a manner that protects integrity. Accounts for inventory of bulk fuel products daily. Maintains cleanliness of truck & trailer to InterState Oil's standards. Maintains an assigned schedule. Follows all company safety and job procedures. Works well with other employees and shares workload appropriately. Extended on-site stays. 24/7 on call availability. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Requires basic math, reading and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and co-workers. High School Diploma or GED required. Clean Driver's License/record. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:  Requires prolonged standing. Requires physical exertion to move and/or carry product hoses. Requires stooping, bending, and reaching. Must comply with dress code, including proper hygiene and appearance standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
