The Psychologist works under the supervision of the Director, Community Based Mental Health Services. Provides psychological testing, interpretation and reports for referrals. Provides clinical assessment referrals and/or counseling for mental health problems.
Responsibilities
- Performs psychological assessments, assists in evaluations of clients seeking mental health services. Provide assessment, diagnosis, and counseling and follow up to clients.
- Maintain documentation of clinical work and other statistically relevant data; meeting quality assurance standards.
- Provide consultation and assistance to supervisory personnel concerning caregivers presenting with disciplinary and/or work performance concerns.
- Promote services by networking, phone calls, to promote counseling services, and in particular, psychological services.
- Available for clients in emergency situations.
- Attend required staff meetings and other necessary meetings relevant to working for the Mosaic Life Care.
- Complete clinical notes in a timely manner and, paperwork necessary for timely insurance filing.
- Maintain broad expertise in clinical areas and keep certifications and licensures current.

- Master's Degree - Psychology - Required
Work Experience
- 3 Years - Clinical experience - Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Psychologist - Required Upon Hire
