Job Title: Campground Housekeeping/Laundry

Reports To: Campground General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Housekeeping/Laundry team member helps maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming facilities across the campground. This includes cabins, restrooms, public areas, and laundry operations. The role supports KOA’s mission to provide an exceptional guest experience through cleanliness, attention to detail, and friendly service. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Cabin & Accommodation Cleaning

• Clean and maintain camping cabins, deluxe cabins, and accommodation units. 
• Clean and style all rooms to KOA brand standards with attention to detail and within time requirements.
• Refresh and replenish linens, amenities, supplies, and guest collateral.
   

Restrooms & Public Areas

• Clean and maintain restroom and shower facilities and other public common areas (e.g., general store, laundromat). 

Laundry Duties

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize all cabin linens and towels.
• Maintain stock of linen supplies and prepare baskets or kits for cabins. 

Guest Support & Customer Service

• Provide friendly and engaging service to all guests. 
• Address guest concerns, report issues to supervisors, and assist with resolving challenges., 
• Turn in lost and found items with proper documentation.
   

Safety & Compliance

• Follow KOA safety protocols, including appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
   
• Be aware of and follow bloodborne pathogen procedures. 
• Ensure adherence to KOA quality standards and health regulations. 

Operational & Support Tasks

• Report maintenance concerns and complete basic maintenance requests when needed. 
• Communicate supply needs or damaged items promptly.
• Assist in additional campground tasks such as RV site cleaning, trash removal, or store/office backup during busy periods.

• Seasonal roles often available (spring–fall), with flexible scheduling. 
• Indoor and outdoor work environments depending on tasks.
