Customer Service Representative - Salem

Marion County Savings Bank, a division of Community Partners SB, is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative in Salem, IL.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE: PAY & BENEFITS

This customer service job pays $15.50 – $16.50 per hour. Plus, we offer great benefits, including:

YOUR ROLE

As a Customer Service Representative, you will greet customers with a smile and help them with their banking needs. You will take care of deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. You will give out money orders and cashier's checks and make sure your cash drawer is always accurate. You will answer questions about debit cards and online banking, keep customer information private, and keep your workspace neat. You will also help with the ATMs, stop payment orders, and other daily tasks. Your goal will be to provide great service. 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year(s) of cash handling experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle people with tact, poise, and courtesy
• Integrity and respect for confidentiality
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
• Commitment to service excellence
• Customer-facing experience (preferred)

YOUR HOURS

You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are also Saturday shifts from 8:00 a.m. to noon on a rotation. This is a full-time customer service job with 40 hours each week and sometimes a little overtime.
