Crater / Carpenter

Summary: 

IRH is seeking skilled Crater to join our team. IRH specializes in rigging, machinery moving, millwright, heavy transportation, logistics, warehousing, trans-loading, packaging, and asset recovery services. The crater will be responsible for preparing and packaging heavy machinery and material for transportation. Primarily will be assembling crates within a team environment.  IRH offers a competitive salary & outstanding benefits!

Job Duties: 

• Assemble crates according to specifications using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transport.
• Heat Shrinking
• Work closely with other team members, including machinery movers, riggers, and drivers, to coordinate moving activities and ensure efficient workflow.
• General warehouse tasks may be included.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of power tools.
• Working in a fast paced, physical, team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
• Good communication skills with other employees and vendors.
• May be asked to work outdoors.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to pass physical abilities test and a drug screen upon hire as well as random periodic screenings.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance.
