The Westminster Center for Financial Wellness (WCFW), housed in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business, is looking for motivated, self-directed student employees to support financial education and community engagement initiatives that make a difference for individuals, small businesses, and underserved communities across Utah.
Positions:
Spanish-speaking Student Instructor (Level 3) -Â $13.50/hour - Now Hiring
Support community programs including the Business Certificate Series courses and Talk About Business, the annual BVGSB small business conference. Work is largely project-based, with regular check-ins and training sessions throughout the semester.
Ideal candidates are:
- Fluent or highly proficient in Spanish and English
- Interested in sharing knowledge in finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, investment, or financial literacy helping underserved individuals and small businesses thrive
- Comfortable speaking with diverse community members and small business owners
- Self-directed and able to manage assigned tasks with limited supervision
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Able to explain business concepts in simple and practical language
- Collaborative and willing to contribute to a small team
WCFW Lab Assistant – Finance (Level 2) $12.50/hour - $13.50/hour - Now Hiring
Support the full range of WCFW programs including the Business Certificate Series community courses and Talk About Business, the annual BVGSB small business conference. Also provide one-on-one tutoring support for Business courses. Work is largely project-based, with regular check-ins and training sessions throughout the semester.
Ideal candidates are:
- Self-directed and able to manage projects with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable communicating with diverse community members and business owners
- Interested in finance, entrepreneurship, or creating community impact
- Collaborative, dependable, and eager to contribute to a small team
- Passionate about helping underserved individuals and small businesses thrive
