Position Summary

Westminster University Bookstore is looking for a creative, reliable, and customer-focused student to join our team as a part-time Events Sales Associate. Events Sales Associates are responsible for setting up and running W Shop pop-ups at events across campus throughout the school year including sporting events, evening events, and weekend events as needed. This role requires a flexible schedule, a willingness to work outside of typical work hours, and occasional outdoor setups depending on the event. 

If you’ve got an eye for style, love talking to people, and are looking for a campus job flexible with your class schedule, this could be a great fit. You’ll be a go-to person for all things, clothing and merch helping create a fun and welcoming shopping experience for customers wherever the pop-up lands

Primary Responsibilities

Expectations

• Help customers find the right size, fit, and style for Westminster apparel and gear.
• Punctuality and willingness to work at events during weekends or the evening
• Use POS and inventory systems to ring up sales, check stock, and answer questions.
• Greet customers and recommend products.
• Schedule is flexible and built around classes; hours will be under 20 per week.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting of clothing boxes and stock.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Westminster University student enrolled full-time.
• Some retail or customer experience is a plus but not required.
• Good communicator who's easy to work with and reliable.
• Available some evenings/weekends, with a schedule built around your class load.
