Assures vending machines located at various Church-owned locations are filled, maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- 80% Assures vending machines are filled to prescribed levels and items are rotated per instructions from supervisor.Â
- Incumbent must follow specific vending procedures and supervisory instructions.Â
- Must be able to move cases of pop, candy, etc. from storage area to machines easily using a hand truck.Â
- Items are moved from shelving ranging from 2 t0 6 feet in elevation.Â
- The incumbent handles large amounts of cash and food inventory and is responsible to balance machine cash/inventory daily.
- 10% Performs minor repairs and maintenance on vending machines; requires general mechanical aptitude and ability.
- 10% Drives van to various machine locations in the Salt Lake Valley in order to fill and maintain vending machines.
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in vending.Â
- Valid driver's license required. Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct basic inventory of machines/cash.Â
- Ability to move items from shelving ranging from 2 to 6 feet in elevation.Â
- General mechanical aptitude and ability.Â
- Basic math skills are essential. Ability to work with minimal supervision.Â
- Vending experience helpful. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. alone; push or pull up to 1000 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly or jack.
