- Follow up and control works carried out by contractors to ensure compliance with tender specifications and general contract conditions
- Oversee erection, commissioning, and testing of loss prevention systems including Fire Detection & Alarm, Deluge Water Spray, Sprinkler, Water Mist, Clean Agent (FM200), Fire Pumps, Passive Fire Protection, Smoke Extraction, Lightning Protection, Emergency Lighting, and Security Management Systems
- Manage interfaces between loss prevention, HVAC, smoke, security management, substation control, and explosion prevention systems
- Verify and approve materials as per contract specifications; ensure all installation and commissioning works comply with approved documents and drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in loss prevention engineering; experience on major Transmission & Water projects is required
- Strong knowledge of design, inspection, erection, and commissioning of loss prevention systems; experience preparing tender documents, technical specifications, and bid evaluations
- Fully conversant with international NFPA Codes & Standards
- Registered member of NFPA, USAÂ (mandatory)
