Job DetailsJob Location: Wholehearted Senior Living at Oakwell - San Antonio, TX 78218QualificationsQualifications Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, CNA, or senior care experience preferred. Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate patience, compassion, reliability, and professionalism. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Ability to follow care plans, assignments, schedules, and facility policies. Must be able to safely assist residents with transfers, mobility, and personal care. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required based on facility policy. Must meet all applicable state and facility employment requirements. Physical Requirements The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and assisting residents with mobility and transfers. Caregivers must be capable of performing the physical responsibilities of resident care safely and with appropriate assistance or equipment when required. Expectations Our Caregivers are expected to be active and engaged throughout their shift. Resident care goes beyond completing assigned tasks. Caregivers should regularly check on residents, anticipate their needs, maintain a clean and comfortable environment, and provide meaningful interaction and companionship. Every resident must be treated with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect.
