Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patientsĀ 
  • Offer respite and support to families and caregiversĀ 
  • Engage patients through conversation, reading, or presenceĀ 
  • Communicate observations to the care team as appropriate

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dependableĀ 
  • Comfortable with hospice philosophy and end-of-life careĀ 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillsĀ 
  • Emotional readiness to support patients and familiesĀ 
  • Related experience or volunteer work preferredĀ 
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportationĀ
