The software development effort for the client's network switch encompasses the creation and maintenance of all embedded software/firmware necessary to support high-bandwidth Ethernet switching.

Skills/Tech Environment

• Embedded Linux, Network Switch Services and Protocols (Layers 2, 3 & 4),
• Precision timing synchronization (PTP),
• Diagnostic - system monitor - test utilities (BIT),
• SNMP MIBs, DHCP Static Port Reservation,
• In Band Port Management
