We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Dietary Cooks to join our team. We have both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available.

Position Summary

The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents while following established menus, dietary requirements, food safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and resident dietary needs.

• Follow prescribed diets, portion sizes, and special meal instructions.

• Ensure food is properly prepared, stored, labeled, and served at the appropriate temperatures.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.

• Follow food safety, infection control, and health department regulations.

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup as needed

• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure timely meal service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking, preferably in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living setting.

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.

• Ability to follow menus, recipes, and special dietary instructions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.

• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail.

• Food Handler's Card or certification as required by California regulations.
