We invite you to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Speech Therapy department at Scripps Green Hospital in beautiful Torrey Pines. This is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team where you will see primarily in-patient cases. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills as they make an impact every day by collaborating with our team to offer excellent care.

The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in unit-specific competency assessment tools and demonstrate age-specific care as established for the area and job title.

Required Qualifications:
- Active CA Speech Language Pathologist License or Pending CA SLP license. License must be in hand for start.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association
- Proficient at conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- CCC-SLP
Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 or more years of Acute Care experience
