As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
