Job DetailsJob Location: LA JOLLA, CA 92037Position Type: InternshipSalary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 HourlyApplicants must submit most recent detailed transcript (unofficial or official) to campusrecruiting@llme.com for consideration.  Internships will run between January 19th through April 15th, 2027 with a minimum 20 hours per week and flexible scheduling.  Internship Learning Objectives Gain hands-on experience in professional client relations within a public accounting setting  Develop an understanding of various software and tools that are used by the firm to prepare client returns Gain a further understanding of the IRS code and preparation of individual, business and trust tax returns for clients Learn the process of completing a tax return from inquiry, gathering information, client follow-up, and completion of the tax return Understand how a firm trains its personnel and how training enhances work requirements Develop a skillset of gathering questions and asking appropriate personnel for assistance Develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels (staff, managers or partners) Develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time. Also, develop organizational skills of tracking time when working on a project Weekly team meetings, panels, lunches and trainings to provide insight on the accounting profession No experience necessary we will train the right candidates Paid position #LI-DNI QualificationsDesired Qualifications Candidates pursuing a BS or MS in accounting or taxation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail and goal oriented Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Willingness and desire to learn Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
