About the Role
Join the finance team as its second hire, partnering closely with the Head of Finance to oversee financial operations across multiple investment funds. You will lead the implementation of an AI-enabled fund administration platform and build automated workflows that make fund finance more efficient and reliable.
What You'll Do
Own fund accounting, limited partner reporting, and capital account statements across multiple funds.
Lead the implementation and calibration of a fund administration platform that uses AI.
Automate recurring finance workflows using tools and systems suited to the task.
Maintain accurate investment data, valuations, and portfolio company records.
Support strategic projects with the Head of Finance, including office acquisitions and cross-portfolio initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Three to six years of experience in fund accounting, fund operations, investment fund audit, or a related finance role, with exposure to investment funds.
Experience producing quarterly limited partner reporting and capital account statements.
Working knowledge of capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, and fund financial statements.
Experience automating or rebuilding finance workflows, using tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable, or AI tools.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Interest in deep technology, science, or impact-driven work.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $133,000 to $160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California.
