Our client is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its San Francisco team handling complex financial services and securities matters. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation and regulatory-facing matters for financial institutions and fintech companies.

The work

• Manage key aspects of litigation from pleadings through resolution
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings
• Work directly with clients on strategy, risk assessment, and case management
• Contribute to consumer protection, fraud, unfair competition, and financial services matters
• Collaborate on matters involving parallel regulatory or investigative components
• Mentor junior associates and oversee discrete workstreams

What you bring

• Four to six years of litigation experience
• Experience managing litigation matters and handling motion practice
• Ability to take and defend depositions and participate in hearings
• Strong client-service and case-management capabilities
