Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned public transit facilities, administrative areas, parking areas, platforms, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and the public.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
