If so, consider being the Temporary Gift Processing Coordinator for the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Join our friendly, collaborative, and hardworking Development team, reporting to the Manager, Gift Processing Systems.   Who We Are:  Our mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin.   We envision a community free of the root causes of hunger, where everyone has access to nutritious food of their choosing and is uplifted by a network of support. Every week, over 53,000 households count on us for food assistance. 60% of what we distribute is fresh fruits and vegetables.   Who You Are:  To excel in this position, you will need to approach the work with the following habits and values:  Strong organizational and time management skills.  Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to handle and maintain sensitive, confidential information.  What You Would Be Accountable for:  The Temporary Gift Processing Coordinator will be responsible for the following key pieces of work:  Collaborate with other members of the Development Operations team to provide donors an excellent giving experience by using all available technology and resources to maintain timely processing and acknowledgement.   The coordinator plays a key role in prepping gift scanning and files and coordinates with the Finance team for check deposits.  Coordinates with the Gift Processing team to ensure a donor-centric process to ensure timely gift entry and acknowledgment, including the posting of in-house printed acknowledgements and tribute cards.  What You Would Be Doing Right Now:  Onsite mail processing, scanning of donations, and file prep for DevOps and Finance  Preparing, printing, and mailing gift acknowledgments and tribute cards  Data entry into The Raiser’s Edge CRM  Managing returned mail and updating records in The Raiser’s Edge CRM  Run queries for data audit and maintenance functions  Other duties as assigned  What Else You Should Know:  All internal candidates must apply using their Food Bank work email within 10 business days of posting to be considered. Applications submitted after 10 days are still welcome but may not be reviewed or afforded an interview, depending on the status of the selection process.   PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  Experience working in an office environment.  Proficient in Raiser’s Edge.  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:  2+ years of experience in non-profit, development, or related field.   Strong experience in gift processing and data entry.    General understanding of fundraising standards and methodologies.  KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:  Strong attention to detail.  Fast, proficient, and accurate data entry.   Ability to work well under pressure and manage heavy workloads during peak times.  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: N/A  PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:  This position is set in a office environment.
