About Us:

Santana Hills Healthcare Center is a 167-bed facility with 90 skilled nursing beds and 77 sub-acute beds, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care for rapid recovery in a central San Jose location.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create personalized therapy plans that improve quality of life and communication outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and swallowing evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises
  • Collaborate with physicians, educators, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid Speech Therapist / SLP license or certification in [State/Country]
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
