Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.

As an Ops Facilitator, you will be the backbone of our teleop data collection operation. You are the person who makes sure every pilot walks onto the floor ready to go. You will stage equipment, prep robots, assign kits, and ensure nothing is left to chance before the shift starts. When collection runs smoothly, it is because you made it happen.

This role requires flexibility to work across varying shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities:

  • Sort, assign, and stage pilot teleoperation kits before each shift
  • Prepare robots for data collection, including hardware bring-up checks and readiness verification
  • Track and maintain equipment inventory across shifts
  • Coordinate with shift leads to ensure all pilots are equipped and ready at start time
  • Identify and flag equipment issues before they impact data collection
  • Support teardown, reset, and organization between shifts
  • Follow proper equipment and robot maintenance procedures

Requirements:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Able to stand and move for 8+ hours per shift
  • Reliable, proactive, and composed under time pressure
  • Quick learner with mechanical or equipment handling aptitude

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in a production, lab, or operations support environment
  • Familiarity with robotics hardware or AV/tech equipment
  • A passion for helping scale the deployment of learning humanoid robots

This is a six-month fixed-term agreement, with potential for longer-term opportunities depending on your contributions and interests.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $28/hr.
