Job Details: Job Location: We Care Plumbing, Heating & Air (San Marcos) - SAN MARCOS, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Position SummaryAs an HVAC Install Apprentice, you'll support licensed technicians and installers with setting upand installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses, learning hands-on as you go. It's a trade with steady, reliable demand, and this is where you start building real skillsfor a long-term career.Key Responsibilities• Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas, and perform basic tasks like measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling under supervision• Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring all work meets building codes and safety regulations• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs asrequired• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and take part in training and safety meetings to build your HVAC trade knowledgeWe Offer• Weekly pay with incentives and bonuses• 401(k) retirement with company match• Holiday pay, vacation pay, & paid time off• Company events & parties• Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, & long and short-term disability insuranceQualifications: RequirementsEducation• High school diploma or equivalent required• Enrollment in or interest in an HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program preferredExperience• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools• Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocolsLicenses/Certifications• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision• Good teamwork and communication skillsPhysical Demands and Conditions• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods• Work performed indoors, outdoors, and sometimes in confined spaces or varying weather conditionsWork Environment/Travel• Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites• May require evening, weekend, or overtime work depending on project schedulesAbility to pass background check and drug screening
