We are currently seeking a Hospice Aide who will be responsible for providing direct patient care to hospice patients at our Hospice House.
Schedule:
Per diem; 8:30am - 5:00pm; 4 shifts per month, hours are flexible

San Mateo County
**MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE**
Mission Hospice & Home Care follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Performing personal care needs to hospice patients according to care plan or Supervisor, including feeding, dressing, baths, toileting, back rubs, personal hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen, laundry, etc.
- Documenting observations and care performed.
- Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2)
- Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure as appropriate.
Education/Experience:
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program. HOME CARE AIDE (HCA) CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED.
- Experience in hospice or home health preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Current certification to practice as a Home Health Aide in the State of California.
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Pay Range:
$26.30 - $31.00 hourly
