As a Program Team Lead, you'll provide daily leadership and oversight for our Community-Based Day Supports (CBDS) programs, helping create a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment where individuals can build independence, develop skills, and participate meaningfully in their communities.You'll work closely with the Program Director and Senior Director while supporting and guiding Direct Support Professionals and ensuring program activities align with KDC policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday***Travel to Yarmouth, Sandwich, and New Bedford offices are expected - mileage reimbursement***Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of CBDS programs, including New Bedford, Sandwich, Yarmouth Coordinate daily schedules, community outings, activities, and programming based on individual goals and interests Support program budgeting and fiscal responsibility in collaboration with the Program Director Provide direct supervision, coaching, feedback, and performance support to Direct Support Professionals Support staff in implementing Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and building positive relationships with participants Ensure staff maintain required certifications and training, including SafetyCare, CPR/First Aid, and other program requirements Build positive relationships with participants and their families/guardians while ensuring participant voices are reflected in program planning Support individuals in developing independence, communication, social, self-advocacy, and daily living skills Assist participants in achieving personal goals identified in their ISPs Encourage participation in community, recreational, volunteer, and vocational opportunities Accompany participants on community outings and support meaningful community inclusion Safely transport participants to and from the program center and community activities using a personal or KDC vehicle, as applicable Monitor participant progress and adapt activities and supports based on individual needs and goals Maintain accurate attendance records, incident reports, PBS documentation, and other required program documentation Ensure program activities meet KDC policies, funding source requirements, regulatory standards, and health and safety expectations Serve as a primary on-site contact for internal and external partners Communicate regularly with the Program Director regarding program operations, participant needs, challenges, and successes Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and positive team environment Perform additional responsibilities as assigned***Why Join KDC? | ***Competitive Benefits PackageHealth & Wellness Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA & Dependent Care) Employer-Paid Life Insurance Employer-Paid Long-Term Disability Free Virtual Medical, Mental Health, Therapy, and Psychiatry Services Musculoskeletal Support ProgramFinancial & Professional Growth Mileage Reimbursement for Work-Related Travel 403(b) Retirement Plan Student Loan Repayment Assistance Tuition Remission Opportunities Professional Development and Career GrowthAdditional Perks Vacation (156 hours), Personal (16 hours), and Sick Time (80 hours)* Up to 11 Paid Holidays Pet Insurance Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Coverage BJ's Wholesale Club Membership Discounts Personal Auto and Home Insurance Support*PTO is calculated using an accrual rate based on hours worked.Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in human services, social work, education, or related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities or in a similar human services setting. At least 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Strong knowledge of community inclusion principles and person-centered practices. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to complete and maintain CPR/FA and SafetyCare certifications. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
