Responsibilities

The BMT/Leukemia Resource Coordinator assists with development, management, and coordination of patient care activities within the Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Programs. Responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and manage consistent patient care by assuming the roles of educator, resource person, researcher, and indirect patient care provider. Works with adolescent, geriatric and adult patients.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  1. Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university and two (2) years experience in health care/health care clinic operations.
  2. Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to understand, analyze and interpret statistical, clinical, and business information.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proficiency in database, spreadsheet, and wordprocessing software utilization.
  6. Knowledge of health care and insurance related regulations/procedures.

Work Hours:

8:30am-5:00pm
