Job DetailsJob Location: NSC-Sanford Service Center - SANFORD, NC 27330Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyJob Category: Christmas ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Schedule/Hours: Seasonal Full Time, November and December 2026 This position is responsible for: Coordinates the operations of the Annual Red Kettle Campaign, ensuring that kettles are assigned to approved retail locations and staffed with Bell ringers. Key Responsibilities: Trains paid Bell Ringers in proper Bell Ringing methods and procedures. Supervises Kettle Drivers, ensuring they are following safety protocols and procedures.  Creates the drivers’ routes for the pick-up and delivery of kettles and kettle supplies, as well as transporting some paid Bell Ringers. Report hours and kettle donations regularly to comply with The Salvation Army’s required statistical reporting requirements. Drives Salvation Army vehicle(s) to deliver and collect kettles and supplies to kettle locations and Bell Ringers. Assists with counting, recording, and depositing of kettle funds. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Duties include extensive driving to and from kettle locations 50-75% of work time. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying equipment (less than 40 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work is performed in and out of the office and in a wide variety of weather conditions. Dressing appropriately is important for remaining safe and comfortable. Qualifications  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU High School or G.E.D. and one year experience working with kettle fund raising programs preferred.
