Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Government Site in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting access-control irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
