Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Job Function
- Provide expert product knowledge and handle complex customer questions and problems.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and formal sales orders.
- Enter, proof, and confirm customer orders in the system.
- Communicate delivery timelines based on production schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support customer needs.
- Open new customer accounts and manage required documentation.
- Support customers with product knowledge and responsiveness.
- Make outcalls to source new business or re-establish business contacts with existing customers.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with quotes, purchase orders, and numbers.
- Comfortable with phone communication, including making outgoing calls to vendors and customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Typing speed of 45-65 WPM.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $27.00/Hr. - USD $32.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
