Direct Support Professional

ABOUT THE POSITION

Santa Lucia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and community involvement. This role offers the opportunity to engage in community-based activities, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a fulfilling lifestyle in the community and at home. 

Duties: 

• Provide transportation and supervision.
• Model appropriate behaviors.
• Plan and participate in community activities such as the movies, bowling, parks, zoo visits, car rides, or sporting events.
• Support individuals in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and assist with daily living skills.
• Provide house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training.

• New Mexico Paid Leave: Up to 64 hours per year
• Accrued Vacation Time

• $25.25 per hour 

• Full-Time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
