Pacific Coast Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, attentive, and dependable Sitter to join our team on a full-time basis!

We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, is patient and observant, and takes pride in providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

As a Sitter, you will provide one-on-one observation and companionship to residents who require additional supervision and assistance to maintain their safety and well-being.

Position Highlights

What You'll Do

• Provide attentive one-on-one observation and supervision of assigned residents.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
• Monitor resident behavior and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in appropriate conversation and activities.
• Assist residents with basic needs as directed by nursing staff and within the scope of the position.
• Follow care instructions and facility safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident needs and observations.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Document observations and complete required reports as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous healthcare, caregiving, or sitter experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain attentive and focused throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with nursing staff.
• Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
