Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Function effectively as a circulating nurse in a variety of surgical specialties.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment.
Perform accurate patient assessments, documentation, and medication administration.
Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process and respond appropriately to changes.
Adhere to hospital policies, AORN standards, and patient safety protocols.
