The Health Unit Coordinator position is a support role within the Behavioral Health Assessment department, supervised by the charge nurse and accountable to the Clinical Coordinator and Manager.
Candidates are required to have basic knowledge of computer applications and possess expert interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate is preferred for applicants.
This is a PRN role that guarantees a Saturday shift from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with additional shifts available to cover PTO and staffing needs.
Employment requires background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse to ensure safety for vulnerable populations.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

- Require basic knowledge of commonly used computer applications and Office equivalent.
- Require expert interpersonal skills.
- Require the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Education

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

This PRN opportunity includes a guaranteed Saturday shift each week, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Additional shifts may be available to cover PTO and other staffing needs. Currently, Saturday coverage represents the only guaranteed hours for this position.
