This is a remote role designed to support flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration. Candidates should reside within 100 miles of our Saugerties, NY office. While day-to-day work is performed remotely, periodic onsite attendance may be required for meetings, training, team events, and other business-related activities. Employees residing within 100 miles of the office will be expected to attend monthly in-person meetings.
About the RoleÂ
To meet increasing client demand, we are deepening our investment in product and engineering. We’ve assembled an in-house engineering team that combines startup execution discipline with experience from large-scale tech companies, and we’re committed to building an amazing product and engineering culture in-house. We’re wrapping up the rewrite of our core internal software and we’re looking to finish strong before moving into the next chapter of continued development.Â
This is a senior individual-contributor role. Beyond product delivery, the Senior Product Manager sets product direction, establishes product practices and standards, and acts as a force multiplier across the organization — mentoring others and driving alignment without direct reports. You’ll help close out the rewrite and then take ownership of the broader product roadmap as the company evolves.Â
What You’ll DoÂ
- Own product direction as we finish the software rewrite and lead the transition into continued development, partnering with the Head of Platform Engineering to ensure requirements are well-defined, documented, and understood by engineering.Â
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, balancing short-term delivery needs against long-term product health, technical debt, and scalability.Â
- Gather, refine, and prioritize requirements from internal stakeholders across operations, compliance, and leadership — resolving competing priorities into a clear, defensible plan.Â
- Document complex business processes and translate them into functional requirements, clear specifications, and well-structured user stories.Â
- Own and groom the product backlog, collaborating with engineering to clarify scope, sequence work, and make pragmatic trade-off decisions.Â
- Maintain stakeholder accountability across a multi-network environment spanning several distinct platforms and client portals.Â
- Define and track product success metrics, using data to validate outcomes and inform prioritization.Â
- Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, building cross-functional alignment.Â
- Establish and improve product management practices, documentation standards, and intake/prioritization processes for the growing product function.Â
- Mentor and guide other product and project staff, raising the bar for product discipline across the team.Â
What You Bring: QualificationsÂ
- 6+ years in product management, ideally in a software development context, with a track record of owning products or major initiatives end to end.Â
- Demonstrated ability to gather, structure, and write clear requirements and specifications for complex systems.Â
- Proven success leading large internal projects or system rewrites from concept through delivery.Â
- Experience defining roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and product success metrics.Â
- Experience in Agile/Kanban environments, collaborating closely with engineering.Â
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence without authority and sound judgment under ambiguity.Â
Nice to have:Â
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, legal, or financial tech) and familiarity with HIPAA or SOC 2.Â
- Design proficiency with Figma or a similar tool, and a UX/UI or graphic design background.Â
- Experience working in a multi-network platform with multiple client portals, with proven ability to maintain stakeholder accountability across several platforms at once.Â
- Experience mentoring product staff or helping establish product practices in a growing organization.Â
- Relevant product management certifications (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Marketing).Â
Working ConditionsÂ
Employees residing within 100 miles of the office may be required to maintain regular in-office attendance. Employees residing outside of 100 miles may be required to travel intermittently to the office (travel expenses covered by the company) and attend company-hosted events with advance notice.Â
Â
Physical RequirementsÂ
- Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.Â
What We OfferÂ
- A critical, high-visibility role in a mission-driven, growing company.Â
- Long-term ownership of product vital to daily operations and customer success.Â
- The opportunity to shape and grow the product function as the company scales.Â
- Remote-friendly, flexible work culture.Â
- Competitive compensation and meaningful opportunities for professional growth.Â
BenefitsÂ
- Company-provided equipment to perform essential job duties.Â
- 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing (when eligible)Â
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageÂ
- HSA and FSA options, company-paid life insurance, and short-term and long-term disabilityÂ
- A full hour of paid lunch, every dayÂ
- Paid time off and holidays — plus extra paid days for your birthday, work anniversary, and volunteeringÂ
