Location: J.C. Lewis Mazda 

Pay: $30-$40/hour, depending on experience and certifications

About the Role:
Join Georgia’s oldest continually owned and operated automobile dealership – J.C. Lewis Motor Co. We’ve proudly served the community since 1912 and are looking for an experienced automotive service technician to join our team at J.C. Lewis Mazda. This position is not an entry-level or quick-lube role. We are looking for professionals who have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair across a variety of makes and models.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on customer vehicles.

• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and quality checks.

• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Keep accurate records of all services performed.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including use of computerized diagnostic tools.

• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins.

• Proficient in performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Good communication skills for working with service advisors, team members, and customers.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a safe work environment.

• ASE certification(s) preferred.

• Mazda-certified technicians preferred; equivalent OEM dealership certification and experience is acceptable.

• Ability to work independently, problem solve, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Age 19 years or older.
