Reportsto:  Field Operations Manager 

JobSummary:  Responsible for the operation, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems necessary for operation.

 EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: 

 

     - Performs a wide variety of maintenanceand repair tasks in the heating, air conditioning, ventilating, structural, andequipment systems in Dandy Mini Mart convenience stores and company buildingsand equipment.  

     - Must drive to various locations withinthe Dandy system to address service requirements while using a company provided vehicle. 

     - Ability to communicate with the Field Operations Manager to establish priorities of work assignments.

     - Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs variousmakes and models of equipment within and outside of store and buildinglocations.

     - Responsible for learning and using proper repair methods, including the use of specialty tools.  

     - Understand the operating principles ofheating, air conditioning, and work safety practices related to all areas ofservice work.

     - Ability to communicate with store personnel at a level they understand, and deliver superior service.

 

      - Submit accurate work documentation on time.

     - Serve in a rotating on-call schedule. 

     - Performsall work with attention to all company safety standards and procedures. 

     - Adheresto policies and procedures relative to driving company vehicles.

                        

Educationand Training Required:

     - High school diploma required.

     - Associate's Degree and/or related certificate preferred

     - HVAC License or certification preferred

ExperienceRequirements:

     - Two years experience servicing climate, structural and equipment systems in the residential or commercial environment.

 

SpecialRequirements:

 

     - Must possess and maintain a valid and clean driver’s license.

 

     - Must possess strong communication skills.

 

     - Ability to exercise good judgment in making decisions and dealing calmly and successfully with a variety of details.

 

     - Must maintain professional appearance and conduct.

 

     - May be required to work holidays, weekends, overtime, or during hours other than those, which are considered as the normal work schedule.

 

     - Must consistently strive to produce error free work and to meet standards expected of the position.

PhysicalDemands:

     - Required to bend, reach, kneel, climb and lift up to 120 pounds or more of weight. 

     - Requiressitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.

     - Requiresvisual acuity and good hearing.

     - Required to travel every workday.
