- Case Mix: Endocrinology and Diabetes
FACILITY INFORMATION
- EMR System: EPIC
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Thyroid FNA (preferred but not required)
- General endocrinology and diabetes management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified (Required)
- Licenses: Active ME License or Universal License (IMLC) (Highly Preferred) – willing to review licensing candidates
- Other Qualifications:
- Experience with EPIC EMR;
- Thyroid FNA ability highly preferred;
- Covid and flu vaccine required;
- References from 2 supervisors and 1 peer within 12 months required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient endocrinology and diabetes care in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Manage new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and hospital discharge follow-ups.
- See 16-20 patients per day, 4 days per week (flexible 4x10 or 5x8 schedule).
- Collaborate with onsite Certified Diabetes Educators for patient education and diabetes management.
- Optionally perform thyroid fine-needle aspirations (FNAs).
