JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified (Required)
  • Licenses: Active ME License or Universal License (IMLC) (Highly Preferred) – willing to review licensing candidates
  • Other Qualifications:
    • Experience with EPIC EMR;
    • Thyroid FNA ability highly preferred;
    • Covid and flu vaccine required;
    • References from 2 supervisors and 1 peer within 12 months required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient endocrinology and diabetes care in an ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Manage new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and hospital discharge follow-ups.
  • See 16-20 patients per day, 4 days per week (flexible 4x10 or 5x8 schedule).
  • Collaborate with onsite Certified Diabetes Educators for patient education and diabetes management.
  • Optionally perform thyroid fine-needle aspirations (FNAs).
