Opportunity

Information Management Group (IMG) is seeking a highly motivated Computer System Analyst/Network Administrator to join our team in West Mifflin, PA or Schenectady, NY. This on-site position requires a professional who brings strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective workflow solutions that enhance operational efficiency, support mission objectives, and contribute to overall organizational success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an on-site Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Skype deployment
  • Maintain a Cisco WAN and LAN using technologies such as SD-WAN, FirePower, and DNA Center
  • Configure, tune, and monitor a Splunk Enterprise SIEM including monitoring, rulesets, and response
  • Monitor Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Clients and Servers, including management using Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Management of a virtual environment containing VMWare and NetApp products Management of a backup and disaster recovery solution using Commvault
  • Support escalated requests from the helpdesk and escalation analysts within the established SLA measurements
  • Maintain the availability of the Buyer’s infrastructure to include the support of emergent issues that may be experienced
  • Perform required maintenance to maintain cybersecurity compliance with established windows and/or procedures
  • Follow the approved configuration control procedures provided by the Govt
  • Additional routine IT tasks of varying complexity may be assigned at Buyer discretion.

Qualifications

  • DOD Top Secret or DOE Q
  • Bachelor’s Degree and four years’ experience, Associate's degree with six years’ experience, High School Degree and ten years’ experience
  • Cisco CCNP (CCNA may be substituted with 3+ years of experience in Cisco networking), Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin and Splunk Enterprise Core Certified Power User, VMWare and NetApp experience, Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience, Microsoft Client and Server On-Prem Experience, Microsoft Exchange and Skype On-Prem Experience, Commvault Experience, or similar certification with customer approval
  • Candidates will be required to take a drug test prior to working onsite and agree to random drug testing throughout your tenure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer support experience and soft skills to ensure end-user satisfaction
  • Ability to lead small teams or projects through cross functional coordination/collaboration with other departments
  • Assist key stakeholders in overall project execution and find solutions through creative problem solving
  • Ability to demonstrate proven success with adaptability – willingness to evolve with technology while ensuring data accuracy standards
