Position Summary
The Co-Curricular Campus Coordinator manages and operates all Great Hearts Co-Curricular programs at their assigned location including After-School Athenaeum and Summer Programs. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible position.

Duties & Responsibilities
聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain and grow program enrollment.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage budget for payroll and supply expenses.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure licensing compliance in all areas of program operations as required by AZDHS.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow standard operating procedures to ensure high quality programs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Hire, train, and mentor program staff.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide performance feedback and coaching to direct reports.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Model and instill appropriate child guidance and classroom management strategies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Model and instill Great Hearts 9 Core Virtues (responsibility, perseverance, integrity, honesty, courage, citizenship, humility, friendship, wisdom).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee implementation of provided classical curriculum.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cultivate relationships with academy employees, students, and parents.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Represent programs at campus events, meetings, etc.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Utilize provided marketing strategies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow protocols for responding to and documenting student behavior and significant events.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Escalate incident reports and significant events to Regional Manager.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Adhere to Great Hearts policies, procedures, and business initiatives.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Attend regular meetings at the Home Office and other local business locations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Substitute in classroom as needed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths
The successful candidate will be a principled, professional leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others.聽They must demonstrate sound business judgment and wisdom in dealing with people.聽They will possess requisite experience in the field of liberal arts and/or education, as well as experience working with children and children鈥檚 programming.聽Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a licensed program. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.聽Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card. Meets qualifications of Facility Director in accordance with the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Child Care Licensing preferred. Required to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.

Additional Requirements

Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.
聽
Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.

Travel required: May need to travel locally to the various academies within the Phoenix metro area.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements.
Travel required: May need to travel locally for training and professional development opportunities.
