AdvisaCare Hospice is seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers to support hospice patients in the Phoenix/Glendale/Scottsdale area.
No healthcare experience is needed, and volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Volunteer opportunities include bedside sitting with patients, caregiver relief, pet therapy, and bereavement support calls.
Pre-med students interested in gerontology patient care are also encouraged to apply.
Volunteers are required to submit to TB and drug tests.

Sitting Bedside with Hospice Patients in Nursing Facilities
Providing Caregiver Relief inside Private Residences
Pet Therapy (already licensed dogs) to visit with patients
Play the Guitar Bedside of hospice patients
Bereavement Volunteer Support Calls to Family & Assisting with Grief Groups
Pre-Med Students who want to learn about gerontology patient care

Willing to submit TB and Drug Tests.
