Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Scranton, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform commercial framing, including metal stud and wood framing
• Install drywall backing, blocking, and miscellaneous supports
• Install doors, frames, hardware, and door accessories
• Install and assemble cabinetry, millwork, casework, and countertops
• Perform interior and exterior finish carpentry
• Install wall panels, trim, baseboards, and other architectural finishes
• Construct, install, and modify partitions and structural components as required
• Perform layout, measurements, cutting, fitting, and installation of materials
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other construction trades
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete assigned work according to project schedules, specifications, and quality standards

Requirements:

• Previous commercial carpentry experience 
• Experience with metal stud and wood framing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
