Patient Liaison, FT

1.  Education:    High School Diploma or GED required.

2.  Training and Experience:    Prefer one to two years of experience in a medical office environment and/or two to three years of customer service experience. Experience with scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and office administrative functions preferred.

3.  Job Knowledge:   Knowledge of medical office procedures, patient scheduling processes, customer service principles, insurance filing requirements, confidentiality standards, and applicable computer systems. Ability to understand radiology terminology, physician office interactions, and records management processes.

4.  Safety Sensitive:   NO

DESCRIPTION:

Serves as the initial point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and visitors of the outpatient imaging center. Performs patient scheduling, registration, check-in and check-out functions while providing excellent customer service. Ensures accurate patient information, facilitates insurance processing requirements, maintains confidentiality, coordinates follow-up services, and assists with overall patient satisfaction initiatives.
