Day Porter — Seattle
Job description:
Bonavista Real Estate Management is hiring a Day Porter to keep our Seattle apartment communities clean, safe, and presentable. You will clean and maintain building interiors and exteriors, handle trash, recycling, and yard debris, and keep common areas ready for residents and prospective tenants. We are looking for a hard-working, organized, self-motivated individual who takes pride in the condition of the properties they cover. Because the role covers multiple apartment properties in Seattle, reliable transportation and current auto insurance are required.

We are offering a one-time $500 signing bonus to qualified candidates who can start within two weeks of our employment offer (paid out after 60 days of employment).
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning interiors of buildings which include:
- Lobbies
- Hallways
- Elevators
- Stairwells
- Laundry facilities
- Glass — doors and windows
- Floors
- Cleaning exterior of buildings which include:
- Sidewalks
- Walkways
- Driveways
- Garages
- Flowerbeds
- Rooftop facilities
- Glass — doors and windows
- Additional responsibilities include:
- Disposing of trash, recyclable items, and yard debris
- Changing light bulbs in hallways and other common areas
- Yard cleanup and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation for daily travel between properties
- (Company vehicle provided upon availability)
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check and screening
- Authorized to work in the US
- Working knowledge of job tools, including:
- Leaf blowers
- Vacuums
- Cleaning tools and solutions
- Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Able to follow directions
- Able to communicate issues at assigned buildings to management in real time
- Able to follow a set schedule and adapt when priorities change

- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
