Although you'll be in the field the majority of your time, our offices are located in Georgetown where we hold trainings, meetings, and other team activities. Kline Galland Hospice is a member of Kline Galland's continuum of care; Seattle's Single Sources Senior Care Resource serving Seattle for over 110 years! The Admissions RN is a versatile position that encompasses triage, admissions, PRN visit help and quality & compliance activities. Schedule: Saturday and Wednesday  Job Description Summary The Hospice Float and Admission RN is a versatile position that encompasses admissions and PRN visit help as well as triage and quality & compliance activities as needed. Key characteristics for this role include strong clinical skills, flexibility, organization, compassion, and a team-oriented approach to care. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Complete scheduled admissions 2. Complete urgent Admissions. 3. Perform chart audits, compliance tracking and other quality improvement activities. 4. Profile medications with hospice pharmacy as needed. Assist case managers in obtaining medication refills. 5. Assist in ordering durable medical equipment as needed to support patient care. 6. Assist with flu clinics, tracking requests for patient flu vaccination and COVID testing. 7. Cover visit help requests per manager request. This includes PPS visits, PRN, and/or routine visits as needed. 8. Work collaboratively with Hospice Management team to field triage calls and meet daily needs of hospice patients. The incumbents may be requested to perform job related tasks other than those stated in this description. Qualifications1. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 2. Has three (3) years nursing experience. Community/home health/hospice or medical/surgical experience is preferred. 3. Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state. 4. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice. 5. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. 6. Possesses and maintains CPR certification. 7.
