Full pay range: $25.00 - $35.00/hr. (Employee may earn up to $35.00/hr. with continued employment.) If you're a talented seamster or needleworker, we'd love for you to join our team at Miller Community Center. We're seeking a Sewing Instructor with strong basic skills in sewing, embroidery, crochet, and general needlework. The instructor should be able to teach simple mending techniques, hand sewing, beginner machine use, and introductory embroidery and crochet. We are looking for someone comfortable supporting beginners and guiding participants through small repair projects and simple creative textile activities. This position is for the fall quarter at Miller Community Center, with the possibility of future teaching opportunities depending on program needs and instructor interest. Associated Recreation Council (ARC) in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) to provide high-quality recreation, enrichment, and lifelong learning programs for people of all ages.
